ABOUT AMSONIA DESIGN
Amsonia Design is owned and operated by Emily Hammond servicing Fairfield & Westchester county. Emily received a certification in Horticulture from the New York Botanical Gardens, focused on Sustainable Garden Design. As a designer she paints with a palette of native and beloved ornamental plants to create alluring outdoor spaces that delight the senses.
As an environmentalist, she implements practices that benefit local ecology and maximizes the use of on-site resources. With a depth of knowledge in soil health and native plants, gardens by Amsonia Design hum with life, supporting a diverse number of pollinator species and contributes to the health of local ecosystems.
Emily is inspired by places of timeless beauty, sun drenched meadows, windy shores, weathered rocks, cobblestones and English cottage gardens. Amsonia Design brilliantly blends native plants and natural flora with classic, well-loved ornamentals -- bulbs, roses, peonies and dahlias for gardens that are infused with color and character.
